| Schedule
Part of the Noyes experience lies in the schedule. The Noyes
day provides for regular meals, periods of quiet and rest, and Noyes
Rhythm experiences.
|
| The Day
The day begins for all guests at 9:00am for the Recreation Class
followed by Technique Class at 10:00am and Reading at 10:30am. Classes
are held every day except Sunday.
There is an official rest period after the Noontime Meal (we call
it Dinner) until 2:30pm
Artist-in-Residence work begins around 3:00pm in the afternoons
Many other Noyes Rhythm experiences are offered during the day
and all guests are invited and encouraged to attend.
Every Wednesday, after the noon meal, there are no scheduled activities
for the remainder of the day. Guests are free to explore the beautiful
Connecticut countryside by hiking or driving. Brochures of local
restaurants and places of interest are available in the Recreation
Room.
Saturday evenings are our Performance Nights |

Meals
Meals at Noyes are part of the experience. The Noyes diet is healthful
and well balanced. Meals are also a social time. Finally, they serve
as the occasion for many camp announcements. It is recommended that
guests attend meals. Please inform the Manager if you will be away
from the Noyes School area.

Quiet Hours
10:00 PM to 7:00 AM is a designated quiet period. Late night tent
parties are fine, as long as quiet is preserved. Rest hour is also
a quiet time and begins after the noon meal.
